This is Dragon sculpture at the Parc Guell's main entrance. The dragon is a typical Catalan symbol. Legend has Saint George killed the dragon, which threatened the community. He finally married the princess. And now Sant Jordi's day is celebrated as the lovers day (April 23rd). Women give books to their lovers, and men a rose to their lady. The columns at the back support a square with a great Snake Bench.
